Hi! I’m Thien-An Truong. It is so nice to meet you! I am the lead photographer at TTRUONGPHOTO. I am currently a student at San Jose State studying vocal performance, but I have a strong passion for photography and capturing stunning moments. I am based in the Bay Area and cover a variety of tasks, from corporate events to professional sporting events.

My photography journey began in 4th grade when I saw my dad and aunt picking up their cameras and photographing various family occasions; soon after, I picked up a camera and started taking photos around my house. My passion, though, sparked during my junior year of high school. I started photographing my school’s soccer team and was immediately hooked. I loved the fast pace and capturing players' emotions on and off the field. From then on, I started to pick up portrait photography, photographing my friends who were in the class of 2022.

Now as a freshman at San Jose State University, I continue to fuel my passion for photography, covering non-profit events, corporate events, and sports at all levels, documenting as a freelance photojournalist for the San Jose Mercury News, capturing senior portraits and family portraits.

My photography strives for detail, quality, and impact. I look forward to speaking and working with you soon!
